Movember Steps Challenge
Walking has been shown to reduce the risk of developing chronic diseases such as type II diabetes, heart disease and certain cancers. It has also been shown to improve mental health and well-being. The Movember steps challenge invites you to get moving and win some prizes. The challenge runs Nov 1 through Nov 30th. Join the Facebook group to receive your downloads to track your step count and have the opportunity to be entered for some free prizes. There is no minimum or maximum amount of steps. You are all different. The idea is for you to move your body more than you did the day or week before and to make movement a part of your daily habits. Prizes will be drawn weekly and randomly, not based on amount of steps, but rather by participation. In order to be eligible for the prizes that will be drawn Monday morning, your entries must be logged in the Facebook group by the Sunday evening before 11:59 PM.
